Tête-à-tête has two websites: this one at https://tete-a-tete.cards, and the app at https://app.tete-a-tete.cards. This page lists every cookie and every piece of browser storage each of them uses. Neither uses analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. There is no consent banner because strictly necessary storage does not need one.

This website (tete-a-tete.cards)

This website sets no cookies.

It keeps two values in your browser's local storage:

• landing-locale — the language you picked.
• theme — light or dark.

Both stay on your device and are never sent to us.

The app (app.tete-a-tete.cards)

The app sets strictly necessary cookies only:

• __Secure-authjs.session-token — keeps you signed in. Lasts 30 days.
• __Host-authjs.csrf-token and __Secure-authjs.callback-url — sign-in security.
• pkce.code_verifier, state and nonce — set only while you sign in with Google or Apple. They expire after about 15 minutes.
• NEXT_LOCALE — your language.

The app also keeps theme, music.enabled and landing-locale in your browser's local storage.

The iOS and Android apps use no cookies; they keep your sign-in tokens on the device, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the app's essential cookies prevents signing in there. This website works with cookies blocked, because it sets none.

Changes

When this policy changes, we post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
